The new bikes with a blue front wheel are looking rather swell.

Wooden bike tour

During a visit to Rotterdam this summer, we saw a wooden bike in a (greek) natural furniture shop.

My knowledge of the Greek language is restricted to the alphabet, so I don’t know who organised this mass bike ride with wooden bikes through Athens, or why.

Krathufter

‘Hufter’ is an informal term for a person who does not comply with the relevant social rules and manners and are thereby guilty repeatedly to antisocial behavior. A krathufter is a person who mounts a big crate on his bicycle so it cannot be parked between other bicycles in bicycleracks anymore.
